The model was construction from below grade and worked its way up. First the subway was built which includes the tack level, platform, mezzanine and entrance from East Portal. Also below grade is core access to both subway and parking.

A sectional model that is cut on three sides. Contains the SE corner of the station. It cuts the East Portal building in half and the bus round about in half. Above grade features include the tracks, elevated rail, High Speed Rail Station, one whole core and one section of a core as well as the East Portal ground condition and entrance to subway.

The stand is a derivative of the suspended structural system that is in play in the project. The three legs simulate cores and the model is an example of the suspended residences.
